William Walker (1729-1793)
Walker was the younger brother of Anthony Walker and is recorded as having been born in Thirsk, Yorkshire (Anthony was born in either Thirsk or Salisbury). William was initially apprenticed to a dyer before moving to London where he was taught the art of printmaking by his brother.
