​Norman Pett (1891-1960)
Pett contributed a small number of cartoons to Punch and is remembered today as the artist of the ‘Jane’ strip cartoon in the Daily Mirror. ‘Jane’ first appeared in 1932 and was immensely popular, particularly amongst serviceman, during the Second World War.
