Douglas Macpherson (b.1871)
A noted black and white artist, Macpherson was on the staff of the Daily Graphic and Graphic from 1890-1913. He provided illustrated records of the Spanish-American War in Cuba in 1898, the revolt at St Petersburg, 1905 and the discovery of Tutankhamen’s tomb, 1923-24.
