Richard Bernard Godfrey (1728-c.1795)
Godfrey was an engraver, born in London. The majority of his surviving works are landscapes and architectural views. He also produced a small number of portraits including Edward the Black Prince, 1775 and Margaret Pole, Countess of Salisbury, for John Bell’s British Theatre (1776-1778) and Antiquarian Repository.
