Minnie Smythe (1872-1955)
Minnie Smythe, the daughter of artist Lionel Percy Smythe, was born in London and educated in France. She exhibited consistently in London in the first half of the 20th century, showing 21 works at the Royal Academy and 61 at the Royal Society of Painters in Watercolour. She was elected a full member of the latter society in 1937.
