Harold Rountree (1878-1950)
Rountree was born in New Zealand and, after moving to England, studied art at the Regent Street Polytechnic. He illustrated many travel and children’s books and contributed cartoons to Punch, Graphic, Strand Magazine and numerous other publications. In 1914 he was elected President of the London Sketch Club.
