Charles Sherwin (d.1794)
Charles Sherwin was a line and stipple engraver, mainly working in portraiture. He engraved plates after his contemporaries and by the Old Masters; he often worked with his brother, John Keyes Sherwin (1751-1790).
According to Bryan’s Dictionary, Charles ‘died in 1794 and is said to have been about thirty years of age’.
