Charles Knight (1743-c.1826)
Knight was a London-based engraver of book illustrations and larger works after Henry Singleton, John Hoppner and Angelica Kauffmann, amongst others. He may have studied under Francesco Bartolozzi. He was a founding member and later President of the short-lived Society of Engravers, established in 1802.
